What should I not put in my garbage can?
WET PAINT (please add sand or kitty litter until it no longer runs). Once paint has been adequately treated, the paint container can be placed in your trash receptacle with the lid off so that your driver knows it is safe to take. Failure to handle paint appropriately results in account termination, should a spill occur.
BULK OIL OF ANY KIND. Small amounts of oil can be absorbed with flour or paper towels so that it won’t run, but amounts that are too large to absorb are strictly prohibited due to county-ordinances. If you have large containers of oil, there are recycling centers that are equipped to take it in a safe way. Failure to ha due oil appropriately results in account termination, should a spill occur.
YARD REFUSE (We are happy to pick these items up in a separate trip. Just call us to schedule this service. Cost varies by the amount of debris we would be expected to pick up.)
CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS (lumber [even if you cut it up], dry wall, tile, toilets, bricks, etc.)
